The Envira Gallery - Search Addon adds a search box to your Envira galleries and albums, so visitors can quickly find the images they are looking for. It is an addon for Envira Gallery and you control the search from a dedicated Search tab in the gallery settings.
Key Features
- Search Box for Galleries and Albums: Let visitors search the images in a gallery, or the galleries in an album.
- Choose What Is Searched: Search image alt text and image descriptions, and optionally tags, EXIF data and comments.
- Custom Placeholder Text: Set your own placeholder text to guide visitors on what to search for.
- No Page Reload: Results load without reloading the page, with clear messages while searching and when nothing matches.
- Search Length Limits: Searches need at least three characters and are limited to 100 characters.
The addon is helpful for galleries with many images, such as photography portfolios, art collections or image-heavy blogs, where visitors would otherwise have to scroll to find a specific picture.
